Live market testing from SUM (Sir Uso Marketing)
Find out if it works before you invest in it.
SUM hosts high-energy live events where your product, service or idea meets real people in a natural setting. Instead of guessing how the public will respond, you get a report built from how actual guests reacted.
Why test it live?
Surveys tell you what people say they'd do. A live event shows you what they actually do when your product is in front of them and the music is playing.
Real people
Guests from St. Louis and the Metro East, in a relaxed setting where reactions are honest, not rehearsed for a focus group.
Real products
Your actual product, menu item, service or campaign, sampled and experienced the way a real customer would encounter it.
Real results
Counts and feedback you can bring to your team, so the decision to launch, adjust or walk away is based on evidence.

How a test event runs
Define the question
We start with what you need to learn: which version people prefer, whether they'd buy it, or how they react to a new idea.
Design the event
We build the music, hosting and setup around your product so guests experience it naturally as part of a great night.
Host the event
We run the party. Your product is sampled, featured and talked about, and every response is counted.
Measure the response
Sampling counts, QR interactions and feedback are gathered throughout the night.
Deliver the report
You receive the results and our recommendations, ready to take to your team.
Our privacy commitment
SUM measures how people respond to products and services, and nothing more. We do not collect names, contact details or any other personal information about guests, and we never sell attendee data. Clients receive response totals and feedback, not information about individuals.
Common questions
How is this different from a focus group?
A focus group puts people in a room and asks for opinions. SUM puts your product into a real social setting, so you see how people react when they aren't being studied.
Can you host the test at our location?
Yes. We can host at your venue, a partner venue, or as part of an event you're already planning.
Can live market testing be combined with Sir Uso Live?
Yes. Sir Uso Live is SUM's brand activation service, and test events often pair with its sponsor-integrated mixes, QR brand promotion and branded MC to put your product front and center.
Is SUM available to MBE and supplier-diversity programs?
Yes. SUM is part of DJ Sir Uso Productions LLC, a certified Illinois Minority Business Enterprise. See our supplier diversity details.
